Chief of Vigilantes at Al Aqsa Says Mosque Sustained Damage in Break in by Israeli Forces.

Doha, 15 September 2015(Lana) A group of Palestinian worshippers
who observed a vigil inside the Al Aqsa Mosque in the occupied Al
Quds 'Jerusalem' a break in into the mosque by Israeli forces over
the last days has called on the international community to act to put
an end to the Jewish desecration of the Islamic shrine and the
violation of the international norms and conventions.
The Chief of the vigilantes association Yusuf Mukheimer said the
mosque has sustained considerable damage in the break in by the
Israeli forces and Jewish extremists. windows and doors, some dating
back to the Umayyad era heave been broken or damaged in the onslaught
so were carpets and other property, he said.
He said the association, he said has launched an appeal to the
residents of Al Quda and nearby areas who spent the night at the
gates of the mosque to join the vigil to confront the break in.
The mosque yard was a scene of clashes Sunday between the
worshippers and the Israeli forces which used grenades and rubber
bullets against the vigilantes.
