UN General Assembly Adopts Resolution to Increase Number of Security Council Members .

New York : 15. 9. 2015 - Lana - The United Nations General Assembly yesterday adopted a resolution regarding fair representation in the UN Security Council and increase its members. President of 69th round that concludes its sessions today underlined the importance of taking daring steps to reform the United Nations including the Security Council in a way that reflects geographic and political facts in the world at the present time . The outgoing president reminded that achieving progress in UN reform efforts is the responsibility of all nations... He called for the need to reform the UN in order to face challenges and to improve the life of humanity in general . It is to be noted that the UN General Assembly is to begin its 70th round today, Tuesday , under official presidency of former Foreign Minister of Denmark who was elected . = Lana =
