Al-Salabi calls for fresh elections in Libya.

Tripoli, 01.09.2015(Lana) A member of World Union of Muslim Scholars, Ali Al-Salabi considered that appointment of a UNSMIL sponsored consensual government through a political accord would be a blow to democratic values and would deprive Libyans of their rights to elect their rulers. In a statment, Al-Salabi said a call by the UN envoy to Libya for the formation of the government would not be useful calling for a fresh elections in the country. He said addressing the Libyan crisis would not be through the formation of consensual government and sharing of power between the existing bodies, pointing out that any intervention and solution that does not respect the rules of the Libyan judicial system would be shameful for Libyan politicians, as he put it. =Lana=
