Gheryan Municipal Council deny city's involvement in events between Raghaiat and Sbaia.

Gheryan, 31.08.2015(Lana) The Gheryan Municipal Council denounced attempts to involve the city in the ongoing events between Raghaiat and Sbaia, which took the lives of several people from Raghaiat. The Council condemned, in a statement, the killing and kidnapping on identity, which try to spread sedition between the people of the one nation and try to ignite the situation between Gheryan and neighboring areas. The Municipal Council repudiated from all the rumors, which aim at division between the brothers and urged all to seek the truth and asked the Almighty to unite us on one word. On the other hand, the Gheryan Military Council denied, in a statement issued on Sunday that the involvement of any brigade from Gheryan in the events of Raghaiat and expressed readiness to open an investigation into the matter. The Council warned against any harm against the people of the city while they travel through Sbaia area or any other neighboring areas. Armed clashes erupted on Saturday between Raghaiat area, west north Gheryan and unidentified gunmen, leaving several dead between killed or injured. = Lana =
