Libya up in second place in Arab Memory Competition 2015.

Tripoli, 30.08.2015(Lana) Libya Memory Competion 2015 wound up
Sunday at Tripoli International Fair. The competition co-organized by
Ministry of Culture and Civil Society and Libya Memory Competition
comprised 50 participates from various parts of the country in three
age categories. Adults or over 18s, young 13-17 and children under 12
year olds.
A celebration was organized for the occasion and attended by
Minister of Culture and Civil Society, Younis Al-Tabawi, head of
Libya memory competition Abdulqader Al-fassi and founder of Arab
memory competition Dr Ryad ben Susha, general supervisor of the
competition, director of Tripoli fair besides delegations from
Tunisia, Algeria, Jordan and parents of the competitors.
Minister of culture praised those who contributed to the success
of the competition. He aid the copettion has been approved by the
Ministry of Culture as the best cultural activity in Libya in 2015
and that it carries a message of peace to Libyans at home and to the
outside world.
The general supervisor of the competition praised the outcome of
the competition and said the event sets a good example that should be
followed.
Founder of Arab memory competition Dr Ryad ben Susha hailed in
his remarks the concerted efforts made by Eng. Abdulqader Al-fassi
founder of Libya memory competition who trained the participants in
this competition. He said thanks to his concerted efforts Libya
Jumped from fifth to second place at Arab level considering it a
historic achievement as 9 Arab memory records have been broken.
The festivity included a presentation about activities of Libya
memory competition and certificate and shields were distributed to
the referees and the authorities that contributed to the success of
the championship.
Eng. Abdulqader Al-fassi has been short listed to heading the
next Arab championship.
The Committee supervising Libya memory competition honored
Ministry of Culture, founder of Arab memory Competition and several
figures who contributed to the success of the competition.
