Italy Says Dispatching of Foreign Forces to Libya is not on the Table.
Pulbished on:
Tripoli, 24 August 2105(Lana) Italian Foreign Minister Paolo
Gentelone said peace and security in Libya could not be imposed by a
foreign army and deployment troops in Libya was not an issue on the
table.
We are working to reach an agreement between all Libyans, and the
talk of military action to contain the terrorist group Da'esh is just
a remedy once the talks failed, Gentelone said.
The final stage of talks between the Libyan parties will begin at
the end of this week, and when an agreement is reached by all
parties, it needs to be taken care of by a coalition in which Italy
will take the position of the main reference.
