Italian navy rescues 4400 migrants off Libyan coast.

Milano, 23.08.2015 - (Lana) - The Italian navy had organized an
operation to rescue about 4400 migrant off the Libyan coast , after
receiving SOS calls from 20 boats , in one of the biggest
multinational operations up to now.
The Italian coast guard in a statement today Sunday , said it had
organized the rescue operation , as number of ship had participated
in it , including a Norwegian and an Irish ships , in the framework
of 'Triton' operation for rescue , affiliated to the European Union.
Europe is making big efforts by proceeding in accordance to the
migrants flow in record numbers , at the mid of the escaping wave
from wars in countries like Syria.
The coast guards said , that the migrants use crowded inflatable
boats , as the Mediterranean had become the dangerous path for
migrants.
According to the international immigration organization , that more
than 2300 have died this year , in attempts to cross the sea to
Europe , as many others seek to use alternative paths to the west of
Europe.
Thousands of migrants under the heavy rain yesterday Saturday , had
stormed the Macedonian borders , while the police used stun grenades
and hit them with truncheons , in order to implement the resolution
for stopping their flow through Balkans to west Europe.
