Tripoli : 19. 8. 2015 - Lana - National Commission for Human
Rights has warned against any foreign military intervention in Libya
under pretext of facing extremism and terrorism .
In a statement issued today, the commission considered any
military intervention to fight extremism in Libya would not be useful
and it would escalate chaos and deepens differences and division ....
Adding that chaos means more deterioration of humanitarian conditions
and worsening of human rights which are to be violated under the name
of '' fighting terrorism '' , according to the statement .
The commission expressed its fears of utilizing this war to
eliminate opponents and settlement of tribal and political
considerations under pretext of anti-terrorism .
The National Commission for Human Rights has stressed that
Libyans alone can end these differences and split and that they are
capable of facing terrorism together through national , social and
political harmony and under one authority .
