Tunisia Re-opens its Space to Libyan Aviation Companies From All Over Libya.

Tunis, 18 August 2105(Lana) Tunisian Ministry of Transport has
announced re-opening of airspace to Libyan aviation companies to run
commercial flights from all Libyan airports to their Tunisian
counterparts.
The Ministry said the move came after a series of meetings
between aviation officials from both countries, the latest of which
was held on August 17.
The decision followed inspection operations conducted by
professional experts in air safety and civil aviation security at the
Libyan airports both in the western and the eastern parts of the
country, to determine whether were in line with international
standards, the Ministry added.
Resumption of Flights will restore the normal pattern of movement
of people by air between the two countries, in addition to medical
flights, it said.
The Civil Aviation Director Al Habib Al Malki said a return of
Tunisian carriers to Libyan territories would be subsequently
considered.
