Italian Plan for Military Support for Libya.

Rome, 18 August 2105(Lana) Italian media sources spoke of a
government plan to offer support to the government of national unity
anticipated in Libya shortly, that included a peace-keeping force,
training of the Libyan army as well as financial assistance.
According the Corierre Della Sera newspaper Rome was for months
working on a plan that does not include a direct military
intervention on the ground, but peace-keeping forces under the UN
flag with a task to secure strategic points in the Libyan
territories.
The paper said Rome has intensified its diplomatic effort
recently, after worrying reports including Da'esh control of Sirte
and the reported barbaric acts against its population as well as the
continuing tragic incidents involving migrants across the
Mediterranean.
