Major Countries Call on Libyan Parties to Close Ranks to Confront ISIS Threat.

Tripoli, 17 August 2105(Lana) The six major world powers called
Monday afternoon on all Libyan parties to close ranks to confront the
threat of ISIS 'Da'esh'.
The United States, France, Italy, Spain, Germany and the United
Kingdom have condemned in a joint statement the barbaric actions
committed by ISIS in Sirte, stressing that 'the situation in the city
reflected the dire need for Libyan parties to reach a consensus to
form a national unity government in collaboration with the
international community, to ensure security and stability in the
country.
They said they were deeply concerned by reports of bombing by
Da'esh gunmen of densely-populated areas in the city of Sirte, and
the indiscriminate acts of violence they perpetrated by the
terrorists who exploited the unstable situation in the country to
carry out their own agendas.
