Constitutional action committee completed 70% of its work.

Tripoli, 16.08.2015(Lana) Constituent Assembly (CA) sources said its action committee has completed 70% of the final draft of the constitution. The Algerian news agency quoted Constituent Assembly member, Ibrahim Al-Abedli as saying Sunday; "The committee is bent on completing the final draft of the new Libyan constitution and the final draft would be presented after its completion to the CA for a vote'. Al-Abedli explained that the form of government and several other chapters such as rights and liberties, judicial authority, constitutional court were completed besides completing major part of local government and basic pillars. The competition of this work was a result of greater consensus among members of the action committee, he added. He expected that the constitution would meet the acceptance of all segments of Libyan people, pointing out that the articles were approved through consensus not voting. The CA selected 12 members from the three regions to end work on the new constitution within thirty days. =Lana=
