Libya calls for Arab League emergency meeting.

Cairo, 15.08.2015(Lana) Libyan has requested an emergency meeting for the Arab League at the level of the permanent representatives to take measures capable of confronting the vicious crimes by the terrorist Daesh in several Libyan cities including Sirt. The Arab League Deputy Secretary General, Amb. Ahmed Ben Hilli, said in a statement on Saturday that the Arab League received a formal request from Libya requesting an emergency meeting next Tuesday. Ben Hilli indicated that the General Secretariat of the Arab League is in the process of conducting the necessary consultations with the incumbent president of the Arab League Council and several Arab countries to determine the date of the expected meeting. = Lana =
