Tripoli, 11.08.2015(Lana) The Sudanese army summoned the Libyan
military attaché in Khartoum in protest of what it described as
Tubruq's government hosting of the main rebel forces in the Darfur
region, west Sudan.
"The armed forces today summoned the Libyan military attaché on
the background of Tubruq's government hosting the Muna Arko Manawi
rebel movement and proving support to fight alongside Hafter forces,
Al-Sourami Khaled, spokesman of the Sudanese army said.
Al-Sourami said this represents a threat to the Sudanese national
security in Darfur region in specific, and to the national and
regions security on the Sudanese Libyan border, and which incite the
movement to undermine stability through the forceful recruitment and
looting by the movement.
Al-Sourami indicated that Sudan has informed the Libyan military
attaché of protest against such behavior by the Tubruq government and
considered it an intervention into the Sudanese internal affairs.
