NSG starts to address power disruption crisis.

Tripoli, 04.08.2015(lana) Head of National Salvation Government,
Khalifa Al-Ghawial has underlined that his government is working in
earnest to solve all problems facing the country using all available
resources.
At press conference Tuesday evening, Al-Ghawial said all measures
have been taken to solve the power disruption crisis, pointing out
that there is 100 Megwatt from the Iron and Steel factory would be
integrated into the national grid as of tomorrow, besides 130
Megawatt from Al-Khomas power plant and 210 megawatt from Al-Zawia
and that Al-Sareer power plant will become operational this week.
Al-Ghawial emphasized that contracts were made to hire 120
megawatt generators, 70 megawatt in Hun and 50 megawatt in Abi
Kamash, pointing out that Tunisia would contribute 250 Megawatt and
75 Megawatt from Egypt and that the total of 935 megawatts will be
integrated into the national network.
Head of National Salvation Government held Tuesday a meeting with
Minister of Electricity and Electricity Company officials and
technicians to find a solution to the electricity crisis.
