Mayor of Sebha: Crime Rate Down Since Conclusion of Peace Agreement Between Tabou and Tuareg.

Sebha,4 August 2105(Lana) The Mayor of the southern Libyan city
of Sebha has reaffirmed that the crime rate in the city has fallen
considerably since a peace agreement was signed by the rival Tabou
and Tuareg tribes.
Hamid Al Khayali said in press statements the Sebha security
directorate hasn't recorded any security violations in the last
period, with the exception of detention of a gang for stealing
vehicles which the Police were able to retrieve the stolen goods.
Al Khayali called on victims of armed robberies to report to
Police recover their stolen property.
'We are working to ensure that security prevails the city through
collaboration between the security directorate and the municipality
of Sebha, Al Khayali said.
He praised the Police forces for the tracking down robbers and
wanted persons and outlaws in the city.
