Head of NSG Says Governemnt Committed to Ensure Flour Supplies.

Tripoli, 4 August 2015(Lana) The Head of the National Salvation Governemnt Khalifa Al Ghuwail has reaffirmed government was acting to provide flour to bakeries until the end of the year. This came at an audience Al Ghuwail held with Minister of Economy, Head of the Price Stability Fund and the Head of the Audit Office which was devoted to discussing the difficulties facing the fund. A number of bakeries in Tripoli have closed, due to lack of flour supplies, while others were scenes to long queues for bread. The Head of the Price Stability Fund Gamal Al Shebani said earlier in the week, the fund would try to avoid a flour crisis if payment of due amounts were made. He attributed the lack of bread at bakeries to the fact that no new flour purchases have been made beyond June 30 last year due to lack of financial cover. =Lana=
