Tripoli Appeals Court Imposes Fines Against Former Regime Loyalists.

Tripoli, 28 July 2105(Lana) Tripoli Appeals Court on Tuesday
issued its verdicts and sentences against a number of defendants,
loyalists of the former regime for their role in suppressing the Feb
17 Revolution in 2011.
The Court imposed fines on Abdullah Al Senussi, Al Baghdadi Al
Mahmoudi, Mansour Dhaw, Abdul Hamid Ammar Ouheida, and Oudeit
Ghandour Al Noubi of LD 50,000 and oblige Abdullah Al Senussi to
compensate public treasury for squandering public money according to
the amount identified by expert report No 80/2012 totaling LD
24,505,000.00. The court also obliged Al Baghdadi Al Mahmoudi,to
compensate public treasury for squandering public money according to
the amount identified by expert report No 80/2012 totaling LD
906,418,000.00. The court also obliged Mansour Dhaw to compensate
public treasury for squandering public money according to the amount
identified by expert report No 80/2012 totaling LD 62,672,000.00.
The court obliged Abdul Hamid Ammar Ouheida to compensate public
treasury for squandering public money according to the amount
identified by expert report No 80/2012 totaling LD 3,134,000.00.
The court also obliged Oudeit Ghandour Al Noubi to compensate public
treasury for squandering public money according to the amount
identified by expert report No 80/2012 totaling LD 5 million.
