Electricity Company Says Power Transmission Lines Switched off at Al zawiyah Due to High Humidity.

Tripoli, 22 July 2015(Lana) The General Electricity Company has announced that power transmission lines between Al Zawiyah power Station and the neighboring areas and step-up transformers have been switched off because of high humidity which reached more than 100%. In a statement on Wednesday, the Company said as a result of the weather conditions, the station lost nearly 1500 mega watts of its capacity, and that work was underway to operate generation units and restore the previous level of the network. The Company appealed to customers to decrease use of power until the normal situation is restored to the network. =Lana=
