Sebha, 22 July 2105(Lana) The mayor of Sebha has states that life
returned to normalcy in the southern Libyan city of Sebha following
clashes between rivals Tabou and Tuareg tribes over the last days.
The situation in the city is normal and no security violations
have been reported last night or on Wednesday, Rafee Hamed Al Khayal
told the Libyan news agency.
A delegation from Libyan Elders and Wise men Association were
liaising with the warring factions in a bid to end hostilities and
restore peace and stability in the city, he said.
The local council in Sebha is committed to resolve all
outstanding issues between the city's neighborhoods and pave the way
for an eventual reconciliation in the whole southern region, he
added.
