Italian Foreign Minister calls on GNC to join Sukhirat accord.

Gentiloni urged Tuesday the GNC to join the Sukhirat accord signed by
Libyan rivals July 12. He warned those whom he described as
hampering political dialogue to be subject to international
isolation.
Italian TV quoted Gentiloni as saying; the first step we call on
all to make is to join the accord, as it is in the interest of the
Libyan people in order to put an end to hostilities, and stop the
threat of spread of terrorism, return to stability, reconstruction
and economic development'.
In statements following his meeting with the UN envoy to Libya,
Bernardino Leon at the Italian foreign ministry, Gentiloni said, the
signed accord was only a first step and that efforts in the coming
days would focus on encouraging involvement of other forces that has
not signed the accord.
Gentiloni pointed out that the international community has high
stakes in the accord and expects discussion of addendums. He stressed
the need to call on all Libyan parties to join the process by taking
part in signing the agreement then engage in the proceeding
negotiations that would determine features of the next government of
national unity.
