Tunisians in Ben Gardan protest their country's endeavour to construct a fence along its borders with Libya.

City closed Monday the international road stopping the passage of
Libyan vehicles crossing from Ras jadier crossing point in protest
against their country's decision to construct a fence along the
common boarders with Libya.
Anatolia news agency reporter quoted eyewitnesses as saying that
the closure was in Al-Zukra region in Ben Gardan, 20 kilometers from
the Libyan Tunisian borders. Two lorries were unloaded of their
shipments at public road to prevent the passage of Libyan vehicles
into Tunisia.
The reporter added that the protest came after the Tunisian
authorities did not responded to requests of the population of the
area to stop construction of the fence along the Tunisian- Libyan
borders.
