Libyan Scholars Association Welcomes Release of Prisoners and Call for Others to be Released Before Eid Al Fitr(End of Ramadan).

Tripoli, 16 July 2015(Lana) The Libyan Ulema 'Scholars' Association has welcomed the release of prisoners and detainees, and appealed for the other detainees to be released before the Eid Al Fitr, which marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan. The step is a very important one, to build confidence as stipulated in the draft 4 of the political dialogue which calls for release of prisoners and detainees and return of displaced people, it said. The association commended the talks between Libyan parties locally and abroad and its support for all attempts at reconciliation to save lives and end the crisis in the country. It appealed to the all Libyan people to strive to spread the culture of peace, to save homeland and to fight terrorism. =Lana=
