Hawili: the last draft did not keep GNC's right in political participation.
Pulbished on:
Tripoli, 09.07.2015 - (Lana) - GNC member 'Abdul-Kader Hawili' ,
called on dialogue parties to set for a serious dialogue , in order
to reach a perfect solution for the crisis in the country , that
respects judiciary provisions , and the principles of constitutional
declaration.
Hawili in statements issued today , said , that the UNSMIL request
for them to review the last draft of the political agreement ; "does
not mean rejecting the dialogue or withdrawing from it".
He added that , the recent GNC amendments on the draft , came to
ensure the continuation of the dialogue in a balanced manner , and
whoever clings to the draft in its last form , is not interested in
dialogue , and seek to oust his political rival.
"How can the GNC to agree on the draft which described as modified ,
while it ousts the GNC , the main party in the dialogue , and
flouting the supreme court ruling" , he wondered.
The GNC member continued ; the last draft did not keep the GNC's
right in political participation within a political agreement that
would secrete a consensus government , so the GNC will participate in
its formation as an active part , the draft gave broad powers to HoR
, in exchange for fully removing the Conference.
