US appoints new ambassador to Libya.

Tripoli, 08.07. 2015(Lana) The United States has appointed a new ambassador to Libya three years after the killing of the former US ambassador Chris Stevens at Benghazi Consulate. If approved by Congress, Bodde would succeed the current ambassador Deborah Jones who runs the US embassy in Tripoli from Malta after leaving Tripoli embassy last year. The new ambassador, Peter Bodde was the US ambassador to Nepal in 2012. =Lana=
