GNC Decides to Continue Consultations on Possible Amending of Political Draft.

Tripoli, 2 July 2015(Lana) The General National Congress has decided that it would continue to consider amendments on the draft for political agreement in Libya which was presented at the dialogue session underway in the Moroccan city of Al Skheirat. In a statement on Wednesday, the GNC said the draft did not contain the fundamental changes which the GNC requested, saying they were essential for success of the talks and preserving the gains of the Feb 17 Revolution. The GNC focused in its meeting yesterday on the alterations that have been made to the political agreement draft forwarded by the UN at Al Skheirat, and also on the amendments done by the UN on the draft, a copy of which was presented to the General National Congress earlier this month. =Lana=
