America and Europe Call on Libyan Parties to Sign Agreement to End Crisis in the Country.

Washington, 1 July 2015(Lana) The US France, Germany, Italy Spain
and the UK on Tuesday called on all Libyan parties to sign the draft
agreement proposed by the UN as part the political talks held in
Morocco to end the crisis in Libya.
The six countries hailed, in a joint statement published by the
US State Department, resumption of political dialogue by the Libyan
parties, describing the UN proposal as a 'balanced considered base'
for an agreement that meets immediate expectations of the Libyan
people and ensure integrity of Libya.
They expressed their readiness to support the agreement and help
put in place a national unity government.
The six countries called on parties to shoulder their
responsibilities at this crucial moment, reaffirming that they were
prepared to provide the humanitarian and economic support needed be a
unified Libya to form a new government.
They said the international community was ready to impose
sanctions on those who threaten peace, stability and security in
Libya.
