Participants Say Talks Conducted in Very Positive Atmosphere.

Al Skheirat, Morocco, 29 June 2015(Lana) Participants in the Libyan political talks in Al Skheirat Morocco have described the meeting as being conducted in a very positive atmosphere. The Head of the negotiating team representing the General National Congress Saleh Al Makhzoum said 'what's remarkable about the meeting is that the parties have met face to face under supervision of the UN Special Envoy Bernardino Leon. The meeting centered on the common issues in general, and a elaborate discussion that could lead to a common understanding was scheduled for a later meeting, Al Makhzoumsaid. On his part, the member of the dissolved House of Representatives Abu Bakr beira said the meeting was joint and straighforward one and all parties were optimistic over reaching a common understanding, which he said would be a mile stone in the dialogue. UN-sponsored direct talks between Libyan parties have taken place in the Moroccan city of Al Skheirat earlier on Sunday for the first time since the start of the political dialogue to end the crisis in the country.
