UN to hold meetings to support security path of Libyan dialogue.

Tripoli, 24.06.2015(Lana) UNSMIL announced on Tuesday that it will hold meetings with representatives of the Libyan army and armed formation in Libya during the coming days to support the security path of the UN-sponsored Libyan political dialogue. the mission said, in a statement, the international envoy met with the representatives of the armed formation in Misrata western mountain region, and other regions west of Libya, within the comprehensive efforts to support the security path of the Libyan dialogue, which is complementary to the ongoing political discussions. The statement added that Leon briefed them on the political agreement draft, which aims at ending the crisis in Libya, particularly the part concerning the security arrangements. Leon called for support for the armed formation to make the implementation of the agreement succeed, including the withdrawal from the cities and towns, and touched on the positive role the armed formation could play to support the national accord government.
