Tunisian Delegation of Businessmen and Media representatives in Tripoli to Promote Exchange Between the Two Countries.

Tripoli, 24 June 2015(Lana) A Tunisian delegation consisted of
businessmen and media people has paid a visit to the Libyan capital
and other cities in a move designed to show strength of
Libyan-Tunisian ties despite recent tensions.
The members of the delegation expressed their gratitude for the
warm welcome they were accorded since they entered the country
through Ras Jdeir border crossing, and said they was surprised at the
state of security in Tripoli which refuted reports circulated in the
media about the situation in Libya and in Tripoli in particular.
They cited testimonies of fellow countrymen who enter into Libya
on daily basis and the good treatment they are offered by their
Libyan brothers.
They noted the reception they were given by the mayor and members
of the local council in Zwara, and also in Sabrata by the council of
elders and members of the local council of the city.
A breakfast banquet was given in honour of the Tunisian
delegation in the capital, attended by the undersecretaries of the
Ministry of Information, the undersecretary of the Ministry of
Economy, the director of foreign information and the director of the
Libyan news agency.
An exchange of ideas and visions was exchanged at the banquet
between members of the delegation and the ministry officials which
focused on the real situation in Libya and effort to open a new page
in relations between the two countries and the role businessmen do in
this regard.
