Sirte, 21 June 2015(Lana) The General Electricity Company has
announced that power has been restored to the entire city of Sirte,
as well as the outskirts of the city.
The electricity company engineers were able to fix power lines to
a station in the city of Sirte that has been affected by a recent
spate of hostilities, the Assistant director of distribution of the
central region Ramadan Abu Shofa said.
The lines and cables feeding the city have been badly damaged in
the clashes in Ramadan which led to a blackout, but power was
restored to the city after all cables have been replaced.
