Labour Culture High Institute Calls for Unified Entity for Workers Unions in Tripoli.

Tripoli, 18 June 2105(Lana) The Director General of the High
Institute of Labour Culture Kamal Al Hamali has called on workers
unions in Tripoli to close ranks to face the challenges which he said
aim to undermine unionist ranks in favour of private interests.
This came at a meeting held by the heads of unions and syndicates
at the headquarters of the institute in Tripoli on Tuesday.
During the meeting the workers conditions at production
facilities and means of solving their problems were discussed.
The heads of unions stressed the need for the unions track to be
amended and called for a unified syndicate movement in the capital
Tripoli in order for workers to be able to achieve their aspirations.
The Director General of the High Institute of Labour Culture told
Lana following the meeting the committee due to be set would forward
its recommendations to the relevant government body to set up a
unified body that incorporates all trade unions in Tripoli.
The institute is one of the institutions affiliated with the
Ministry of Employment and Rehabilitation.
