Arab League discusses situation in Libya, Yemen and Syria.

Cairo, 17.05.2015 (Lana) Arab League Council held Wednesday at
the level of permanent representatives a consultative meeting in
Cairo to discuss the situation in Libya, Yemen and Syria.
Deputy Secretary General of the Arab League, Ahmed Ben Hali said
in a press statement Tuesday that Nabail Al-Arabi would brief
permanent representatives about outcome of his consultations with UN
officials about developments in Libya especially in the light of the
efforts made to push the Libyans into forming a government of
national unity, and solve the Libyan crisis on political and peaceful
bases.
At another level, Ben Hali revealed that deputy president of
Yemen, Khaled Belhaj would review during the meeting the Yemeni
government vision about development of the situation in Libya and the
goal of Geneva meeting sponsored by the UN.
It would also review development of the situation in Syria and
the visit of the UN envoy to Syria.
