Justice Mahmud Abushala assumes the presidency of the High Justice Council.

Tripoli, 16.05.2015(Lana)Justice Mahmud Abushala assumed Monday the presidency of the High Justice Council, by virtue of a solution passed by the GNC to this effect. The handover ceremony were conducted between deputy of former President of the High Justice Council, Yusuf Al-Khemri and Justice Mahmud Abushala at the Council premises in Tripoli under supervision of the committee formed by the GNC. The GNC issued Resolution No 55/2015 on forming a committee to carry out hand over procedure to the new President of the High Justice Council or his deputy from the former president of the council or one of its members. The hand over ceremony was attended by deputy minister of justice, Ibrahim Khussaib, and councilmember, justice Ali Derwish and Abdulrhman Al-Ahwal, as representative for the Audit bureau. =Lana=
