Egyptian trolley caught in Libyan territorial waters without permission.

Tripoli, 09.05.2015(Lana) Members of the coast guard central
sector apprehended an Egyptian trolley No 567 within the Libyan
territorial waters fishing illegally off Bawirat Al-Hassoum west of
Serte.
Navy spokesman, Col. Ayub Qassem told Lana that the trolley
called "Amira Muna" with 16 Egyptian fishermen on board entered
Libyan territorial waters with prior permission from Libyan
authorities and was spotted by coast guard central sector based on
reconnaissance information to the coast guard operations room.
He explained that the central sector dealt with the situation
according to international law and fired warning shots and ordered
the trolley to stop, after which the trolley maneuvered and tried to
colloid with the coast guard vessel head on and threw a fishing net
in front of the vessel but the coast guard caught the trolley and led
it into Misrata port Tuesday.
