Saleh Al-Makhzoum: GNC may request direct negotiations with other side.

Skhairat, 08.06.2015(Lana) The head of the dialogue team of the GNC announced on Monday that the GNC may ask the UN Special Envoy, Bernardino Leon, to move to direct negotiations with the other side, Al-Makhzoum said, in a statement to Moroccan news agency that all are determined to accelerate the realization of a comprehensive solution for the Libyan crisis, and stressed that the dialogue team of the GNC is prepared to make compromises just similar to what it has always done, if the other side demonstrates the same determination. He added that the GNC presented its observations with regards to the proposal of the UN envoy, which was disappointing, and indicated that the dialogue team is waiting for the response of the UN mission to the remarks to determine whether they will be included in the draft agreement or whether the aforementioned proposal will be withdrawn. Al-Makhzoum urged the other side, the parliament, to engage in the dialogue with a sense of responsibility and seriously to serve the interest of the Libyan people, and he urged the UN and the international community to adopt a neutral position and support legitimacy in Libya. = Lana =
