Italian Coast Guards Rescue More than ( 2000 ) Immigrants in the Mediterranean.

Rome : 06. 6 . 2015 - Lana - Italian Coast Guards declared Saturday that its forces had rescued thousands of immigrants who were on board wooden boats in the Mediterranean. Immigrants Assistance Station, which is non-governmental organization, said that more than ( 2000 ) immigrants on board ( 5 ) wooden boats in the Mediterranean . The station coordinated a rescue operation with Italian , Irish and German ships in rescuing those immigrants boarding crowded boats . UN Refugees Commission said that ( 46500 ) immigrants arrived in Italy by sea during the first five months of this year, that is ( 12 % ) more than the same period last year . The Italian government expects the number of illegal immigrants to reach ( 200.000 ) this year in return to ( 170.000 ) last year . = Lana =
