Italian Coast Guard Rescues More Than ( 3300 ) Immigrants in the Mediterranean .

Rome ; 30. May . 2015 - Lana - Italian Coast Guard has declared the
rescue of more than ( 3300 ) immigrants in the Mediterranean where
they found ( 17 ) dead bodies on board a number of boats.
The rescue operation included four Italian military vessels and
coast guard and customs police boats; in addition to military ships
from Ireland , and Germany .
It is to be noted that last Thursday more than ( 700 ) illegal
immigrants were rescued in the Mediterranean half of those by British
helicopters'' Carrier.
Since the beginning of this year more than ( 40.000 ) immigrants
have arrived in Italy while about ( 1770 ) others lost their lives
when trying to cross the sea to Europe .
On the other hand , ( 37000 ) immigrants have arrived in Greece
since the beginning of 2015 , that is ( 3000) more than in 2014.
