Italy and Algeria Renew Commitment to Libya's Unity, Sovereignty and Independence.

Rome, 28 May 2105(Lana) Italy and Algeria have said they were still committed to Libya's unity, sovereignty and independence. In a joint statement, following a visit by Algeria's Foreign Minister Abdul Malik Salal to Italy, the two sides pledged to support the dialogue track sponsored by the UN, in a bid to form a national unity government that can hold the country together, and fight terrorism. The two countries were unanimous on the need to reach a peaceful and permanent solution to the crisis in Libya, and encouraged Libyan parties to continue the comprehensive dialogue. They voiced their support for the UN effort led by Bernardino Leon the Secretary General Special Envoy. =Lana=
