GNC sets up committee to restructure public sector salaries.

Tripoli, 26.05.2015(Lana) The GNC decided to set up a committee to study wages and salaries of public sector employees and all institutions paid by public treasury and proposed to be restructured to ensure fair distribution of salaries. According to the resolution the tasks of the 7-member committee- representing ministries and state institutions including Ministry of Finance and Central Bank of Libya- summarized in putting in place appropriate proposals to put incentive system that links promotion and salary increases to performance rates and quality assurance. The committee also to propose making distinctions between jobs and profession with health hazard and others and salaries be commensurate with the degree of the hazard.
