World food program provides its aid to displaced in number of Libyan cities.

Tripoli, 22.05.2015 - (Lana) - The World
Food Program 'WFP' on Thursday , had started providing aid to the
displaced , in number of Libyan cities and regions.
In a statement issued by the WFP said : "We are now providing aid to
about 51 thousand Libyan persons , who are very weak , in the cities
of , Wadi al-Shati , Misrata , Sabha and Traghin".
Coordinator of emergency operations in the program , in Libya office
'Wajdi Othman' , said that acts of violence and lack of security ,
still exists inside the country , which led to the displacement of
huge numbers of residents , and an increase in humanitarian needs.
Othman , said that the world food program is doing its best to help
the displacements , who left without supplies … pointing out that
the program is planning to get in touch with 243 thousand displaced
in Libya , to provide the necessary aid for them during the upcoming
months.
