Tunis, 19.05.2015(Lana) The Tunisia Foreign Ministry said detention of Tunisians in Tripoli is related to security campaign to verify documents of foreigners residing in Libya. In a statement, Tuesday it explained that the work team supervised by the Tunisian Foreign Minister, Atyb Al-Bakoush in coordination with the Tunisian General Consulate in Tripoli is making their efforts with the Libyan authorities to find an urgent solution to the situation of detained Tunisians. It said the Foreign ministry intensified its contacts with the Libyan side to set free the Tunisians as soon as possible. An official source at the Tunisian Foreign Ministry confirmed last Sunday that armed group detained about 170 Tunisians since Saturday in Tripoli. =Lana=
