Spain Declare Participation in European Force Against Immigrants' Smuggling in the Mediterranean .

Madrid : 18. 5. 2015 - Lana - Spain declared Monday its participation in the European force against smugglers of illegal immigrants in the Mediterranean . Spanish Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Minister ,'' Jose Garcia '' in a statement to Spanish media said : '' His country will take part in European mission against human trafficking in the Mediterranean with a ship surveillance plane and a helicopter ''. This force will focus its operations in international and Libyan territorial waters . He added , that another ship is made at the disposal of European Agency for Borders monitoring and intends to provide another ship in next June and July and a surveillance plane as of the beginning of next September. The Spanish minister indicated that the task of the new mission to pursue and destroy ships and boats used for illegal immigration purposes after'' the approval '' of the countries concerned. Garcia stressed the need for a resolution by the Security Council or a request by Libyan authorities before waging military operations against these targets . EU member states approved Monday launching of a naval operation to put an end to immigrants smuggling in the Mediterranean.
