Nato Foreign Ministers Discuss EU Proposals on Military Mission in Libya.

Antalya, 14 May 2015(Lana) Nato foreign ministers met in the
Turkish city of Antalya on Thursday, to discuss EU proposals for a
military mission in Libya, to seize or destroy boats used by
smugglers to transport migrants from Libya across the Mediterranean.
'We highly appreciate the strong cooperation on both sides, it is
useful first because we are surrounded by challenges which unite us,
of course we are diverse in nature and in the way we deal with the
crisis, but definitely we share the same values and concerns at time
of crisis, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and
Security Policy Federica Mogherini who is attending the meeting said.
Meanwhile, Nato officials said the alliance and the EU have
discussed means of gathering intelligence, that could help pinpoint
smugglers boats off the Libyan coast, and asked for more cooperation
to implement the Minsk agreement.
