Human rights watch calls for investigating crimes in Libya.
Pulbished on:
Tripoli, 13.05.2015(Lana) Human Rights Watch called on the UN
Security Council and International Criminal Court to reject cases of
impunity for the crimes taking place in Libya as it put it.
The rights organization called on the ICC attorney general to
use her Security Council mandate and open an investigation into
those crimes.
Human Rights Watch appealed to the International Criminal Court
to expand the scope of its investigations into such crimes, pointing
to the failure of the Libyan authorities to investigate crimes in
Libya.
It said it is high time for the Security Council to realize that
achieving justice in Libya is imperative for attaining enduring
peace.
