Water Resources Ministry Says Water Supplies to the Capital to be Restored in Next 48 Hours.

Tripoli, 7 May 2015(Lana) The NSG Ministry of Water Resources has said that water supplies would be restored to households in the capital within the next 48 hours. A Ministry spokesman attributed the disruption of water supplies in some quarters of the capital to a lack of sufficient water in the main depots, to meet the needs for consumption. The shortfall in supplies was due to the policies followed by the Man-made River authorities, said Suleiman Aboud, indicating that the water reaching the depot were estimated at 900000 cubic meters daily whereas the city's consumption was estimated at one and half billion cubic meters. Water supplies to the capital are occasionally get in shortfall, and sometimes are cut off at some areas and residential quarters. =Lana=
