NSG Gives Illegal Immigration File a Priority to Find Fundamental Solutions to this Dangerous Phenomenon .

Tripoli : 06 . 5. 2015 - A high level meeting was held Wednesday at the Prime Minister's Office Chaired by the Prime Minister and in the presence of Ministers of Interior and Local Governing, leaders of security bodies and a number of Mayors of Municipalities overlooking the Mediterranean to study practical mechanisms to limit illegal immigration phenomenon that use Libyan territories as a transit to Europe in general and Italy in particular . The National Salvation Government underlines that it considers the file of illegal immigration as a priority in order to find fundamental solutions to limit this dangerous phenomenon . The NSG has confirmed the importance of cooperation with the European Union to fight this phenomenon. The participants decided to ask related security bodies to improve the living and health conditions of the immigrants till their deportation to their countries' of origin . The NSG stressed the need to address countries exporting immigrants through the foreign ministry to cooperate with Libya to stop the huge flow of immigrants through Libyan southern borders and to deploy armed units to control penetration of immigrants . It was also declared at this meeting to create an operation room to manage and follow up illegal immigration phenomenon with the help of concerned municipalities on this matter . = Lana =
