EU Political Affairs Commissioner: Political solution alone would ensure stability in Libya.

Tunis, 04.05.2015(Lana) EU Political Affairs Commissioner said
political solution alone would ensure stability in Libya, which would
have positive reflections to get rid of illegal immigration.
This came during his meeting with Tunisian Minister of Foreign
Affairs, and ambassadors of the USA, Malta, Germany, Spain, and the
UK to Tunisia.
The EU commissioner presented at the meeting the project prepared
by the UN to get Libya out of its crisis, pointing out that such
project gains strong support from the international community
especially from the EU and Libya neighboring countries.
He pointed out that Tunisia commitment in this approach has
become tangible being a neighboring country of Libya and still has a
diplomatic representation there.
On his part the foreign minister underlined the importance of
finding a political solution to the Libyan crisis. He said Tunisia
rejects any military intervention in Libya. He added that the
solution lies in installing a government of national unity in order
to fight terrorism.
The Tunisian foreign minister stressed the need to coordinate
with head of UNSMIL, Bernardino Leon to implement the international
work plan to end the crisis in the country.
