Libyan News Agency Veteran Journalists Honored .

Tripoli : 03. 5. 2015 - Ministry of Culture and Civil Society and Press Promotion Authority honored Sunday morning a number of veteran journalists of Libyan News Agency as part of honoring list including ( 12 ) Libyan journalists . The honoring ceremony was organized by the Ministry and Press Authority at Al-Waddan Hotel in Tripoli marking the World Day for Freedom of the Press which corresponds the 3rd of May every year. The festivity was attended by Ministers of Culture and Civil Society , Information, Education and Higher Education , in addition to a host of specialists in the field of journalism and local , Arab and international mass media . The list of those honored from LANA include the late Mr. '' Mohammed Ben Zaytoon '' , the first Director General of Libyan News Agency in 1963 , Mr. Ali Ramadan Farhaat , Mr. Ashamli Massoud and Mr. Abdel Azziz Mousa . It is worth noting that this is the first honoring ceremony of its kind since the establishment of Libyan News Agency ( Lana ) = Lana =
