Libyan Child Contestant Selected for Prize at 2015 Kanagawa Biennial Children Art Exhibition in Japan.

Kanagawa, Japan, 29 April 2105(Lana) A 12 year old Libyan girl
was selected for prize at the Kanagawa Biennial Children Art
Exhibition in Japan.
Rawasi Omar Abuhol, who attends Tripoli Central School was among
21.000 children who contested at the 12-16 olds exhibition, which was
established in 1981 and is conducted every two years.
The results of the exhibition sponsored by the Japan
International Cooperation Agency were announced on Sunday April 26.
A total of 26,472 works from 95 countries were received for the
competition, organizers said, adding that the awards certificates and
prizes as well as a tour of the exhibition have been planned for June
4, 2015.
The Ministry of Education is said to organize an event to honour
Rawasi for the excellence it gained.
Two Libyan girls had also been selected for prizes at the same
exhibition in 2013, competing with more than 24,000 works from 91
countries.
The girls Bushra Saleh from Al Fatah School in Sirte, who sadly
died along with her father in an accident in Sirte, and Nasiba Nuri
Saleh from Osoul Al Elm School in Gasar Bin Ghashir, Both were
honoured by the Ministry of Education in December 2013.
